Want to lower your stress
level a few points right now? I invite

I know
what it's like to live with stress.
I worked for over 15 years in children's protective services, which
is rated right up there with police and air traffic control as one of the most
stressful professions in the world.
I also know what it's like to ruin
my health with stress.
In the mid-nineties, I was
diagnosed with chronic fatigue syndrome and I had almost constant respiratory
infections that generally looked like "walking pneumonia." I had to take
a disability leave from my work and I eventually spent almost three years
rebuilding my health. In the process, I learned a great deal about
letting go of stress from the inside out.
I made it back to health, and resumed work in the same county social
services agency, facing the same stressors. But this time, I knew enough
to love myself from the inside out on a daily basis. Over and over, I
