"When you are in control of yourself, choosing peace
and cooperating with the flow of action, you appear to be highly successful and
in control of life. But you know, in your inner place of peace, that you are
simply making choices, remaining centered and loving while Spirit
leads.
"Does that sound like a nice place to be? I guarantee it's the
adventure of your life!" |

How many times have you
promised to take better care of yourself and get out of stressful situations?
I know how it goes.
My Stress Story Over ten years ago, I
struggled along as a county social worker, in one of the most demanding,
stress-filled jobs on the planet. The needs were so huge and the resources so
limited, I felt like I was pouring my energy into a black hole in space.
I cried every morning before going to work. I drove my health into the
ground. I still pushed myself to meet crazy deadlines and provide excellent
work. My doctor wanted me to take a temporary leave from work. I pushed
on.
On
the day I broke one of my prized Wedgewood plates, backed forcefully into my
brother's car, and later accidentally killed my precious 15-year old cat, I
finally got the message. I was stressed to the point that not only was my
physical health seriously compromised, my ability to function was slipping. I
took a three month disability leave and vegetated.
Healing Myself For the
next three years, I focused on healing myself. For a while, both my
husband and I were out of work at the same time. In the process of handling all
this, I learned enormously about how to manage stress.
Having ruled out
a number of other job possibilities, I eventually went back to work at the same
county agency, to a similar position, but this time I knew how to take care of
myself and manage the external stressors. I thrived in this job, and was
promoted to another challenging (yes, very stressful) position. And I loved it!
I continued to take care of myself from the inside out in the midst of a mostly
chaotic work environment Always Learning and
Sharing So, besides my first-hand
experience of overcoming stress, how did I get where I am now? I started with
psychological counseling in the midst of an unhappy marriage many years ago. I
moved on to practice and teach meditation, then earned two masters degrees in
counseling and psychology, and a doctorate in spiritual science. I've worked
extensively as a social worker, holistic psychotherapist and personal growth
facilitator.
Now, Im totally enthusiastic about helping people
create success through self-loving and the power of personal peace! Ive
helped many, many clients to reduce stress by learning to love themselves from
the inside out.
You Have the
Resources I know that you already have within you all the
resources you need to overcome your obstacles, including high levels of stress.
I gently challenge you to empower yourself and I support your process with love
and compassion.
In my writing, my workshops and my individual spiritual
coaching, counseling and mentoring work, I take a practical, holistic approach,
mixing and matching many spiritual and psychological strategies to help you
align the needs of body, mind, emotions and spirit. My work is always based on
helping you love yourself and choose personal peace, which can result in a very
dynamic and successful state of being! I've learned a lot about
multi-dimensional healthy living and can share on many levels with deep
compassion!
Once you release the anchors that drag you back, you simply
learn to set your direction and cooperate, as your future pulls you forward
into the greater being that you are. That translates to on-going self-loving,
major stress reduction, and a lot more success and happiness.
